                Macklin strongly advises for businesses to identify the units in your organization which may need or utilize business student-interns . As well as developing position descriptions, listing responsibilities and identifying the academic preparations, qualifications or special skills required for the positions. Provide reasonable part-time employee compensation.

                Internships offer career exploration opportunities in a variety of fields and provide hands on experience. Students who complete internships are often more marketable to employers. A student intern also has the opportunity to develop good references and to network. Both college supervisors and on-site supervisors closely monitor student's work progress.
